Darnell Blount

 Darnell C. Blount, a resident of Norfolk, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Darnell was born on November 13, 1956 to the late Deloris H. Blount and Joshua C. Blount, Sr. 
 

   Darnell is survived by his daughter, Sherritta Flood of Norfolk, 2 sisters, Sonya Blount of Norfolk and Juanita Brown (Marcus) of Portsmouth, 2 brothers, Brian Blount of  Norfolk and Joshua Blount, Jr. (Lisa) of Virginia Beach, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

    A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Keith Matthews Funeral Home, with Pastor Tarance Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.  A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
