On Saturday April 1, 2017 our Lord and Savior decided that it was time to call Delgria Ann Bowden (aka Dee) home from all the pain of this life. She was stricken with Sarcoidosis. She suffered with this illness for 15 years. Yet in her sickness, she still remained her same fun-loving self with a smile that would light up a room. She loved interacting with family and friends.

Delgria was the top track runner at Manor High School, where she received a full scholarship to Florida State University.

Delgria was born on August 3, 1960 to Louverner Nichols and the late Anderson Nichols. She was a Christian and accepted Christ in her life as a young adult.

Delgria leaves to cherish her memories her son Dyshawn S. Horton, of Chesapeake, mother Louverner Nichols, 2 brothers Mario Wells (Daniell), of Chesapeake, Anderson L. Nichols, Jr of Virginia Beach, Dana Davis (Howard), Andrea L. Nichols, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 6421 Providence Rd., Virginia Beach, Va.  Viewing will be on Friday from 3:00 until 8:00.
