Lindsey Wilkins

Lindsey “ Ralo” Wilkins passed away late evening on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the age of 58.  He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on August 11,1959.  He was the son of late Leroy and Shirley Whitaker-Wilkins. 

“ Ralo” lived a prosperous life.  A retired Army Veteran who served our country diligently and respectfully.  Someone full of love who would give you the shirt off his back.  No matter what someone needed he was always there.  He enjoyed being around friends and family and always greeted you with a BIG smile. A wonderful husband who enjoyed road trips with his wife.  He loved his wife for 18 years, renewing their vowels May 8, 2017.  He enjoyed football season with his favorite team being the Dallas Cowboys. "Ralo" enjoyed cooking, fishing, singing, dancing, and family gatherings.  He was a fighter and never gave up on life. 

He leaves behind his wife Mary Wilkins, children Deshawn Griffin (Kim Griffin), Lindsey Griffin ( Donella Griffin), Carlos Land, Andre McClenney, Demetrius McClenney, Alveta McClenney, Keith McClenney, grandchildren  Rae-Shawn, Shyanne, Devon, Alexus, Kaylis, Lindsey Jr, sisters Mishell Whitaker, Rosalyn Wiseman, Rhoda Gorham ( deceased James Gorham), Valarie Glover and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 His last wish was that everyone would love one another and come together as a family to celebrate his homegoing.
