Pamela was born in New York City and raised by her grandparents the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mitchell.  She graduated from Craddock High School in Portsmouth, VA.  She also is a graduate of Tidewater Community College where she earned an Associate Degree.  After graduating she intermittently worked for the Portsmouth Public School System as a substitute teacher. Ms. Mitchell later on began working at Holiday House for Children (Portsmouth, VA), until her early retirement.

Ms. Mitchell enjoyed listening to all kinds of music.  Her passion was collecting ceramic teapots.  She  lived the remainder of her life in solitude and will be truly missed by her family.
