Stanley Pringle, 56, of Toledo, OH went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 2, 2017. Born from the union of Willar and Aaron Pringle, Stanley was raised in the city of Toledo, OH. His varied interest led him to serve honorably in the United States Navy. In 1986, he married Elvira Andres Pringle of Cagayan Valley, Philippines. The couple eventually moved to Virginia Beach, VA to raise their family.

Our gracious God in his infinite wisdom enlightened our lives on earth with the making of Stanley. At a young age he was ambitious and laps ahead of his time. He landed a full time summer job at 13 years old, deceiving the manager his age. Despite his skinny frame, he was athletically fast and had the heart of a lion. He was quickly known to be one of the toughest kids in the projects, taking up for friends bigger than him. As a supportive brother, he led by example with his careful decision making. He was determined and always wanted to help them make the right decisions. As a friend he was honest and outgoing, and always offered all the help he could.

With 31 years of marriage to Elvira “Emma” Pringle under his belt, he emphasized commitment as a loving and responsible husband. For his life-lasting dedication to being a father to his kids and father figure to many, he was revered an unreplaceable angel on earth. Stanley will forever be remembered for his kind heart, humble spirit, and love of fishing.

Stanley was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia McCadney, and his father Aaron Pringle. He is survived by his wife, Elvira “Emma” Pringle, his daughter Barbara J. Pringle, his two sons, Stanley W. Pringle, Jr. and Jason R. Pringle, and granddaughter Mila M. Pringle. He leaves to cherish his memories with love, his mother Willar D. Pringle, his brothers;     Marcus, Ruell, Aaron, and Marcel Pringle, and a sister, Pamela Martin.  He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of friends, relatives, and loved ones.
