Tyrone Clay

God saw the road had gotten rough and The hills were hard to climb 

He gently closed his loving eyes and whispered peace be thy.

His weary hours,his days of pain are past

His ever patient frame has found rest at last .

On Sunday March 11, 2018  with his loving family surrounding him , Tyrone C. Clay  peacefully entered into eternity at DePaul Hospital.  He was born on January 12, 1970 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Tyrone was the son of the late Mary Elizabeth Clay and Calvin Clay.  Tyrone attend Jacox Elementary school and graduated from high school. 

He leaves to cherish his memories a sister Jacqueline Osborne of  Norfolk, VA three Brothers Linwood Stokes of  Norfolk, VA  Earl Stokes of Chesapeake, VA  and Tracey Clay of Norfolk, VA.  He also leaves  to cherish his memories two sister-in-laws ,nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.  He found many friends  while living in the Westhaven Manor facility of  Portsmouth, VA . Tyrone was a gentle kind man with a special  loving  spirit.  He enjoyed doing things on his own as best as he could.  Tyrone loved candy and walking.  His Family and friends will miss his beautiful smile and  happy spirit the most.
