Anita Westmoreland

Anita Elaine Westmoreland passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday August 22, 2019.  She was the daughter of William and Gladys Smith born on August 19,1963.  She attended Suitland Senior High School where she participated on the track and field team and also ran in the Maryland Allstate championship.  She graduated there in 1982.  Where she entered into the Navy and fulfilled her military obligation.   She was also employed  by  Kakani Ramanaiah as an Office Manager  and also worked for Virginia Beach City Government.   She enjoyed spending time with her son Jeconiah  and her friends.  She also loved to watch sports especially the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Orioles.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother William Gregory also known as Greg.   She is survived by her older sister Tawanna Smith of Suitland, Md. Tamika Smith (Niece) of Capitol Heights, MD, Larry Smith(Nephew) of Suitland,  Md, and Tasha Smith (Niece) of Charlottesville, Va.   She is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.
