Anthony Jerome Corprew was born March 22nd 1963 to Juanita Corprew and Dave Newsome. He and his mother remained very close throughout her life. He was her near constant companion. Anthony attended Booker T. Washington High School where he developed a love for Politics and History. He was quick to share his knowledge of either subject with whoever would listen.
Anthony was dedicated to working. He was employed by Regino’s Restaurant, the Marriott Hotel and spent the last ten years devoted to service at the Holiday Inn. He started attending church when the family lived on Sewells Point Road and committed his life to Christ. Whether he was heading to church or work, Anthony loved wearing his Fedora hat which was broken in just right. According to his sister, Althea, he was not only a good brother but a good friend who would do anything for his family. He will be missed very much.
Anthony is survived by his sisters, Althea and Karen Corprew and Ramona Williams and nephews, Derrell, Dante, Antione, Kevin, Reginald, William and Terry Corprew. He is also survived by nieces Sherrell and Nakita Corprew and by a host of great-nephews and nieces.
