Arthur Clements was born to Richard and Alice Clements on May 18, 1963 in Norfolk, Virginia but on Sunday July 7, 2019 he received a called and quietly slipped away to be with his Heavenly Father.
Arthur was educated in Chesapeake Public Schools where he graduated from Indian River High School in 1981. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army.
After Nick, as he was affectionately called, got out of the Army, he worked for Norfolk General Hospital. He later began to drive trucks. He loved this job and made a career out of it until his health fail.
Nick was a strong black man. He continued to push himself even when in pain. He was just that kind of guy that didn't give up. He was loved by everyone and everyone he came in contact with loved him. Family meant a lot to him.
Arthur loved clothes and always was a smooth dresser. Back in the days he would ride around in his Red Mustang. He was so cool that's how he got the name "Tricky Nick".
Tricky Nick made a call a few weeks before he passed and said he wanted to give his life to God. He realize the road was getting rough. So he received the prayer of salvation. He made peace with God.
He was predeceased by 1 sister Brenda Clements and nephew Alphonso Clements. He leaves to cherished his memory his wife Curlandra Clements; daughter Nickell Clements; parents Richard and Alice Clements, 2 brothers Richard Clements Jr. , Chesapeake, Va; Oscar Clements (Mary), Mobile Alabama; sister Lendora Maye, Patterson NJ; nephew, Stephon Barcliff, Chesapeake, Va; niece, Patricia Cleaver.
