Cornelius E. Strange, Jr. transitioned into his eternal rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Known to many as “Que,” he was born, October 4, 1975, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital to Ruby Jean Hines (Strange) and Cornelius Strange Sr. He cherished his family and all things of art, color and abstract. He lived for more than nine years in Stone Mountain, GA. where he further developed his love for the arts. He attended Plaza Middle and Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, Va. Besides art and photography, he enjoyed cooking and laughter. He was a big kid at heart who adored working with and teaching self-expression through the arts. He is survived by his parents, one sister, three nieces and two nephews, two aunts one uncle and a host of caring cousins and loving friends. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, maternal and paternal. Although he is no longer present with us here on Earth, his legacy lives on in our hearts and memories. Cornelius, we loved you more than you knew. Que, you will be missed.
