Junious DeMary Obituary

Junious M. DeMary (Bob) was born November 25, 1946 to Colin DeMary and Carrie Bazemore in Preston, Maryland. He was proceeded in death by both his father and mother; Colin DeMary and Carrie Bazemore; and sister; Viola Chesson.

Junious was a man of character, quick wit and great wisdom. He was outspoken by nature and his knowledge was unmatched. He was a simple man who believed in being a good steward over anything you acquired in life. Junious believed in hard work and mirrored just that. He was the provider and backbone for his family. He also cut hair in his neighborhood and worked years for the Naval Shipyard demonstrating his vigor. After all of his hard work throughout the years, he began to exhibit his character through cooking. He was a pillar of strength and a man of pride.  Junious was a genuine and authentic father, a grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Junious DeMary departed life on Sunday, June 9, 2019, due to heart disease complications.

Junious was an intuitive character with a personality you could not resist. He enjoyed telling stories filled with humor and charm. To know him was to truly love him, and all of him. There was a phrase he would say when he was shedding wisdom in his stories, “I’m going to tell you what God loves”. This is something he lived by and we will make sure that this legacy lives on.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 52 years, Juanita DeMary; five children, Julius DeMary, Delia Ferebee, Corvarda DeMary, Danielle DeMary and Corey DeMary; six grandchildren, Ashton DeMary, Shawntel Ferebee, Amanda Lee, Marcus Lee, Adonis Lee, Aaliyah Tabb; three brothers, James Colin DeMary, Edward Wilson and George Lenard Wilson Jr.; one sister, Hazel Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

“Cause Imma tell you what God loves…” -JD
