Kimberly Harris

Kimberly Jeanette Harris was born on February 28, 1970 Lloyd J Harris and Geraldine G Harris . Kim was predeceased in death  by her sister Lenise Harris Jefferson she departed this life on January 18, 2020 at Chesapeake Regional Hospital
Kim graduated from Lake Taylor high school 1983. Kim continued her education at Norfolk State University which she received her teaching degree. She was a teacher aid at Norfolk Public schools system for 15 years or more, during the summer Kim was a teacher at the Southside Boys and Girls  club in Norfolk Virginia
She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters Josie Norman Jones, Denise Harris and Keisha Harris,Three nephews Derrick Norman, Deshawna Harris,and Jace Harris aka Jason to Kim. Two nieces Candace Washington and Laronda Gordondy, 4 great-great nephews and 3 great great-niece, her best friend Keenan Hayes and host of aunts, uncles, and cousins that love her dearly and we can’t forget about her special cousin Darrell Norman a.k.a. Pokey.

When my life work is ended, and I cross the bright and glorious morning I shall see, I shall know my redeemer when I reach the other side, and His smile will be the first to welcome me.... Through the gates of the city in a robe a spotless white, He will lead me where no tears were ever fall ; In the glad song of age I shall mingle with the delight But I long to meet my savior first of all
