On early Monday morning, June 5, 2017, Leslie M. Cousins peacefully made his transition to be with the Lord. He was born on April 17, 2017 to the late Claude H Cousins and Louise Cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Claude H Cousins, Jr.

He was educated in the Norfolk Public School system and graduated from Maury High School. Leslie was a man who had a BIG heart and a blessing to many. He was a mechanic and could fix anything. He would take apart a car and put it back together again. He was previously employed by Norfolk International Airport.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Nina Cousins, a daughter, Lideta Cousins Baum (Alvin Sr.), stepsons Roderick Raby and Anthony Harris. Three brothers; Louis Cousins Sr. (Deloris), Apostle Larry S Cousins (Jacqueline) and Lloyd Cousins. Four sisters; Maxine Cornegay, Myra Sawyer (Joseph), Claudette Rice, Andria Cousins and a sister-in-law Evelyn Cousins. An aunt Shirley Joyner and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
