Lorenzo Harris

According to the divine plan of our Heavenly Father, on Tuesday September 3, 2019, Lorenzo Harris transitioned from this life and entered into the loving arms of Jesus; the one that he loved and lived for. He was kind and gentle; a loving brother, cousin and a friend to all. Lorenzo adored his baby sister God gave him Janet. Lorenzo genuinely loved everyone and always displayed a welcoming smile.

Lorenzo was born in Norfolk, Virginia on May 4, 1953 to the late John and Shirley Harris. He was educated in Norfolk Public Schools and retired as a roofer from the Norfolk Steel Company.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Alberta Davis.

Lorenzo leaves to cherish his fond memories, his beloved sister, Janet Hairston (Norfolk, Virginia) who he affectionately called Bae Bae, a special cousin, Kevin Elliott (Norfolk, Virginia), The Hairston Family, as well as a host of God sent caregivers; Loving Hearts, Monique, Malcom, Anna along with the Sentara Hospice Team, family and friends.

He will be sorely missed by those who loved and knew him and we were definitely blessed to have him in our lives.
