He received his education at College Park Elementary School and Kempsville High School, Virginia Beach, VA. Shawn had a big heart of gold and would do what he could for others.

He also leaves grandparents, Ms. Doris Hawkins, Virginia Beach, VA, Mr.William Robinson, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Ms. Uzie Johnson and the late Cicero Johnson, Brooklyn, NY, and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Hawkins, Chesapeake, VA.
In addition, he leaves uncles Marc (Catrice) Richardson, Long Island, NY and James (Nancy) Wright, Brooklyn, NY. to cherish his memories. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
