Stella Marie Wiggins Morgan of Virginia Beach, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was a native of Hamilton, N.C., and the daughter of the late Ruth Mayo Wiggins and Willie Wiggins. Stella Morgan was married to Richard Morgan and to that union she had two children; Lorraine Morgan of Philadelphia, Pa., and Richard Morgan Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA;
Stella was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church for many years. Her quiet demeanor and pleasant smile will be missed by the Mount Olive Baptist Church family. Stella retired from Barclay Hotel after over 25 years of faithful service. She never missed too much times from work. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed being around them especially when there were family gatherings and delicious foods.
She leaves to cherish her memories two children; Lorraine Morgan of Philadelphia, Pa., and Richard Morgan Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandsons Rhyheim Morgan and Jayden Riley Morgan; five sisters, Elizabeth Bridgers of Chesapeake, Va., Virginia Wiggins of Philadelphia, PA., Lilian Price of Williamston, N.C., Brenda Battle (Ernest) and Martha Wilson (Jerry) two brothers, Edward Wiggins (Minnie) and John Wiggins (Albertina) of Virginia Beach, Va.
