Wesley T. Gallop, Sr. passed away on January 1, 2019. He was a graduate of Crestwood High School. He’s an Army veteran and received the National Defense Service Medal for his service in the Vietnam War, a war that would haunt him for the rest of his days. Wesley was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was the son of the late Charles Gallop and Lorraine Christian and was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Leroy Christian and Mary Elizabeth Christian. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife LaVerne Gallop, a son Wesley Gallop, Jr., a sister Joyce Frazier, a brother Clarence Christian (Carla), two grandchildren Taeron Richardson and Tresyah Frost, two devoted aunts Cecilia Mason and Carrie Simmons (who he liked to brag that ‘she helped raise me’), his loyal cousins Jeanne and Darlene Riddick, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
