Alexander Earl Green Obituary

I am home in Heaven, dear ones, oh so happy and so bright. There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed. I am now at peace forever. Safely home in Heaven at last.

Obituary

Alexander Earl Green (Boobie), beloved son, was granted his wings Monday, May 5, 2025, following a lifelong illness. His final days were spent surrounded by his family and friends, whom Alexander had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet memorable life. Alexander was the middle child; he was affectionately known as “Boobie”. Born on August 19, 1974, in Mount Vernon, New York, to the late Alice Green and Earl Green. Alexander was preceded in death by his brothers Emanuel Green, Paul Green, his grandparents Jessie Evans, Daniel Evans, his aunts Annie Gale, Deloris DeCosta, and James Davis, his uncle.

As a child, Alexander was raised in Mount Vernon, NY, where he completed high school. Alexander had a passion for life, family cars, and dogs. Although Alexander did not work consistently, he was always willing and eager to help anyone as long as his illness allowed him. In Alexander's later years, he relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his beloved mother and brother. He continued to live life to the fullest with the strength and resilience from God Almighty, despite the hurt and pain of losing his dear mother and brother due to their illness.

Although Alexander's illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and the ability to overcome incredible odds. He enjoyed listening to music, talking with people (especially the ladies), getting haircuts and spending time with his cousins, Melvin and Lamont, spending time outside with his dog, and just enjoying life. Alexander had an infectious laugh that would bring joy and melt the hearts of those around him. He had a huge imagination and always had a story to tell about his life. Alexander was full of life and was a fighter. With Alexander's passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss
him every day, especially that laugh. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Alexander leaves to cherish his memories of his uncles: Melvin, (Sherri) Marion Jr., Dainel Jr. (Tania), and Calvin, one aunt, Gloria, (Carl), and a host of cousins and friends. Alexander will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, strength, resilience, and a fighter who taught us to live every moment to the fullest with love, joy, and peace in our hearts.
