Annie Leah Ray Parker Obituary

            The Lord silently whispered and led our Beloved Matriarch to Glory on the morning of her 89th birthday, January 10th 2023 after living a long wonderfully blessed life.
She was born to the late Nellie James and Stanley Copeland Sr on January 10th, 1934,  in Norfolk, VA. She received her education in the Norfolk Public School System. Leah was first married to the late, Jack D. Bullock, Sr and out of this union was born, Jack D Bullock, Jr  and Pamela A. Bullock. In later years, she met the love of her life, Charles M. Parker, who became an awesome bonus Dad to her children. Leah enjoyed cooking beside her late husband,delicious meals for family get-togethers and holidays. She was known for her infectious smile, loving ways and a spirit of hospitality to her family and friends. She knew no strangers.
 She was very active in the Democratic Party of Lancaster County VA as a past treasurer and community coordinator. She will be forever missed by the people she devotedly loved and served. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Carolyn H. Ransom. Leah leaves to mourn her son, Jack D. Bullock (Ann),daughter, Pamela A. Sands and a grandson, whom she and her husband reared, Troy D. Bullock, brothers, Stanley Copeland, Hampton, VA, Charles Copeland (Pearl), Los Angeles, CA, Isaac Lee Holloway, Virginia Beach VA, sister, Brenda F. Childred, Beaver Creek, OH, 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grands, 11 great-great grands and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends who she loved dearly.
