Anthony Zandre Duffy, beloved son of Robert Duffy and Betty Lynn Byrd Johnson. Was called home on November 11, 2025, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital Onancock VA, 23417. He was born at Northampton Accomack Memorial Hospital on May 20, 1976.
Anthony received his education in the Accomack County Public Schools. He was employed at several establishments including Eastern Shore Seafood Company, Perdue, Tyson, and Health Aide.
Anthony, affectionately known as ‘Bug, Buggie Fresh or Big A,’ was the neighborhood brother to many. Anthony opened his door to anyone in need, whether it was for food, shelter, or advice. Love radiated from him could be felt by anyone who met him. In his leisure time, Anthony loved to cook, play cards, and video games. He also enjoyed singing gospel while cleaning the house.
There are so many things that one could say about Bug, he was fun, kindhearted, plain down to earth with everyone. He was a brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. I know we will miss him those great memories will live on in our hearts forever.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by grandmother Madeline Sara Byrd grandfather Paige Randolph Riley Sr. Aunts, Sara Jane Crosby, Brenda Cupid, Uncles James E. Byrd, Fred Riley.
Anthony leaves to cherish his priceless memories: Two brothers, Troy Lamont Duffy, Robert Lee Byrd; four nieces, Yolonda Coston, Roneaka Byrd, Roshonda Byrd, and Tynasha Duffy. 1nephew Keandre Pettit. Three great nephews; Aunts, Mary Baynard, Bridget Manuel, Sharon Finney, Joyce Johnson, Isabelle Riley; uncles, Paige Riley, Jr, Orlando Riley, Avis Mussio, Robert K, Byrd. Great Aunt Dorothy Taylor White, Great uncle, Amos Davis and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
