Antonio Fort departed this Life on Friday, February 26, 2021, Antonio was born on November 2, 1963. He was native of Norfolk, Virginia. He was predeceased by his father James Fort and Katrina Mae Sorrell.
Antonio attended Chesapeake Schools. He attended Making a Difference Bible Holiness Church with his Wife Ellery Fort. The last Sunday at Church he asked if he could sing a song. He sung Jesus is Real. Antonio knew God. He was adamant about the things of God. His last conversation with the First Lady Pat, He asked her and Pastor Leroy to forgive him for not coming back to Church. When he was asked the question about his salvation. “He stated that he had a relationship with God. “Antonio was a devoted husband to Ellery. He was supportive to his family and friends. Antonio was hard worker, and He was loved by everyone who knew him. Antonio had a favorite word that he would say all the time, “Mercy.”
Antonio leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Shirley Ann Phelps and Stepfather James Phelps of Chesapeake VA, His wife Ellery Fort of Norfolk, VA, one daughter, Ellery Lisa Ladrina Fort of Norfolk, VA, one Son, Antonio Reginald Fort of Chesapeake, two grandsons, Tyrell Q. Luster and Latrell J. Luster of Chesapeake, VA, three sisters, Audrey (Gregory) Jones of Norfolk, VA, Shirley (Dwight) Perkins of Virginia Beach, VA, and Cynthia (Gerald) Collier of Norfolk, VA, one brother, Reginald (Veronica) of Norfolk VA, and one brother-in-law, Martin Ferguson, of Norfolk, VA, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Antonio had a special relationships with his nephew, Monte Ferguson, his brother-in-law Gregory Jones, his brother Reginald, and his sister Audrey.
He will be truly missed.
