(Apostle) Johnny Magee Obituary

Apostle Johnny Lee Magee, Jr., born October 6, 1965, at Fort Dix, New Jersey, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and close friends. On March 10, 1984, he married Lilliette C. Magee, and together they were blessed with two children, Lemeka J.S. Magee and Elijhah L.T. Magee. A U.S. Army veteran, he gave his life to Christ while stationed in Darmstadt, Germany, and answered the call to ministry. He served as the first evangelist from Christian House of Prayer, and later pastored Full Assurance of Faith in Landstuhl, Germany. Apostle Magee founded Commanded Blessings Christian Fellowship in Chesapeake, VA, which later became,  "THE HOUSE" Church in Virginia Beach, VA. A gifted teacher, author, and proud graduate of Sonship School of the Firstborn, he held a Bachelor of Biblical Studies, a Master of Theology, and two doctorates, including a Doctor of Ministry earned in July 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, his children, grandchildren, siblings, and a host of extended family and church families at "THE HOUSE" Church, Christian House of Prayer, and Covenant Connections International. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny L. Magee, Sr. and Chrisdale Burton Jennings. His life was a testament to God’s love, family, and servant leadership.
