Arthur Santiful Obituary

Arthur Santiful, better known as A.D., departed unexpectedly on April 6th, 2026, at the age of 36.

On a warm and rainy night of  August 19, 1989 at 7:11pm in Norfolk General Hospital of Virginia one of the most handsome baby boys was brought into this world.

As a young man, he had a love for winning. He displayed that love by successfully challenging and winning trophies throughout his life.  Many trophies were won while playing football on a rec team called the Patriots. His determination dominated the field by having the ability to play any position with the help of his Uncle Bud as his coach. Ad loved nothing more than to spend time hanging out with his cousins, drawing beautiful sketches, painting, and listening to music of all genres such as Young Jeezy, T.I., Dipset, Tupac, Naz, Micheal Jackson, Robin Thicke, Kelly Clarkston and Coldplay. AD had to look and smell good 100% of the time.  Some his favorite attires included Adidas, LRG or some clean uncreased nice white Air Forces. If he was stepping out to something special, he would throw on that fresh cotton polo sweater.  He always had the love and time for his family and friends. Having a great heart flowed through his veins. Being a hard worker; he made that look easy. Ad mastered his skills while faithfully working at Nansemond Precast Concrete.

AD was the 1st born Grandson to the family which made him the Apple of Grandma Doris's eye.  She treasured him like gold.  Being the first grandson automatically made him the guardian of all the children and grandchildren which was a huge task that seemed too easy to AD.  A leader, a challenger, a shoulder to cry on, advisor and protector for the ones he held close to his heart. These are the things A.D. stood by. After having his babies Ad's life changed forever. He matured and became the best father ever to his three children that he loved unconditionally.

Arthur leaves behind 3 children: London Williams, Cameron Williams, Kindel Williams,(2) Sisters: Arrielle Santiful and Alexis Santiful, (3) brothers: Amelio Brown, Arturo Brown, and Latrel Phillips, other relatives, family and friends including his mother/best friend Carolyn Biles.

A.D. opened his heart and shared his spirit to many. He embraced people with his love and he will always be missed. " Gone but truly not forgotten. "

Psalm 23:4: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me"
