On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Avery Williams entered eternal life. Born on February 4, 1966 in Norfolk, Virginia, Avery is the only son of Barbara Mackey.
Avery graduated from Frederick Military Academy in Portsmouth, Virginia and afterwards attended East Carolina State University. Avery was a family portraits salesman and served areas throughout the United States which allowed him to do two of the things he loved most in life which was meeting new people and travelling. In doing so he was not only blessed to meet and befriend people from every walk of life, but to also us the gift of gab that he was known for.
Avery accepted Jesus Christ and completed the Foundations Classes at Calvary Revival Church earlier in his life. Despite his challenges, his love for the Lord was undeniable.
Avery was a diehard Dallas Cowboys football fan and Los Angeles Lakers basketball fan.
Avery was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Muriel Welch. In addition to his mother, Barbara Mackey, he leaves to cherish his memory his only daughter Kennedy Williams, his sister, Jennifer Blackwell, and his uncle Theodore Alston, Jr. (Beverly) and a host of cousins and friends.
