Barbara Perkins

Barbara was born September 4, 1938 to Frederick and Sarah Fuller.  She was the oldest of eight siblings, Joyce Bagby (Lawrence), Celestine Hayes (Roger), Clifton Fuller (Diane).  She’s preceded in death by her sister Virginia and three brothers, Frederick Jr., Tyrone and Curtis.

She graduated in 1956 from Booker T. High School.  She retired from Family Dollar in 2002. She married Alfletter Perkins in July 1959.  They had six children; Sharon, Allen, Rodney (deceased), Anthony (deceased) [Sherron], Samoa Brown, and Shawn (Monica).

Also left to cherish her memory are 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
