Brenda Williams

Brenda Williams of Norfolk, Virginia went with our dear Lord God on Friday December 18th 2020 at the early age of 58. Brenda passed peacefully with the love and care of her children, grand-children, family, and friends tending to her every need.

Brenda was born on March 15th 1962 to Marion and Walter Williams. She was the seventh child born from this great union of husband and wife. Brenda was one of the most caring and willing spirits to grace the earth, with her presence.  Anyone who knows Brenda knows she loves to cook and cater to others. She served as a member of Way of the Cross COGIC where she was a member of the choir, a cook, server, and hosted many after church social functions. She worked as a manager at Farm Fresh in Oceanview for many years where she made the day of so many customers, co-workers, and military personnel. Brenda also worked as a secretary at Norfolk State University where she independently raised two boys.

Brenda retired from Farm Fresh management after the company closed.  She then spent her golden years with her family and friends. Brenda was the glue that held the family together. She cooked and provided every Sunday dinner for her children, family, and extended family just as her mother Marion Williams

Brenda Williams will leave behind three sons Tony Williams (Sherita), Trenton Williams, and Raymond Whittaker Jr. Two grandchildren Omarion Williams and Keyaira Williams. Siblings Walter “Bro” Williams Jr., Serena “Ne-Ne” Britton, Carl Williams, Ricky Williams (Patricia), Elman “Oink” Williams (Angela), Donald “Duck” Williams (Deceased), Kevin “K.P.” Williams, Lisa Williams, Lenora Williams (William), and Cynthia “Tina” Williams.
