Clarence Joe McCants, Jr

Clarence J. McCants, Jr., 81, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Clarence was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on August 29, 1940 to the late Clarence Sr. and Addie McCants.

Clarence was a contractor by trade and a builder at heart. He was a person who loved to help people with any building needs. After retiring from contracting, Clarence and his loving wife moved to Virginia Beach until God called Clarence home.

He leaves behind his wife, Shirley McCants; daughters, Gwendolyn McCants, Sherry McCants, Lisa McCants; son Larry M. McCants; stepdaughter Deborah Ann Nowlin Ham; stepsons Tyrone Nowlin, and Steven Nowlin; sisters Marion and Annable; and brothers Russell and Mitchell. He will be truly missed and loved by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family and friends.
