Clifton Johnson

Clifton M. Johnson, a life-long resident of Norfolk, VA, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on May 10, 2024 at the age of 66. 

Clifton was born on March 8th, 1958 to Clifon and Alzada Johnson of Norfolk, VA. Clifton was employed at People's Cleaners for over thirty years and eventually became a valued Groundskeeper for SL Nusbaum Realty Co. with Pinewood Gardens Apartments with a tenure of 10 years. When not working, he loved listening to music, watching television, and eating good food (especially seafood). He touched so many lives just by simply smiling or making a joke. Clifton was always known for lending a helping hand and putting others first. 

Clifton is survived by his loving wife Rosemaria F. Johnson, his mother; Alzada Johnson, children; Charmaine Banks, Rashetta Banks, Yvette Banks, Nikki Johnson, and Sterling Johnson, sister; Belinda Spruill (Willie), brothers; Abraham Yahannason (Florine), David Johnson (Maxine), grandchildren; Demarje Banks, Malachi Banks, Camron Banks, and Zoey Weaver, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Clifton was preceded in death by his father Clifon Johnson and brother Ronald Johnson. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
