Collish Sauls

With love and gratitude for a well lived life we remember Collish Sauls who departed his life on December 22 at the age of 73 in Norfolk, Virginia. Born in North Carolina, he was the  beloved child of the late Willie and Lucille Sauls. Collish was   always a hard worker holding several occupations and  self-employed for many years taking care of himself starting at a young age. He was known for his since of humor and his love of living life to the fullest. Due to his maternal mother passing at a young age, he was mainly reared by his hard working father and stepmother who instilled life values into him which he carried well into his adult life. However, during the last few years of his life even while his health began to decline he always remained resilient and in good spirits. He will truly be remembered for the impact he made on those who knew him and the legacy of love he leaves behind to those that were close to him.

The family finds comfort in honoring his life and remembering the moments shared with him and he will be deeply missed.

Collish is the father of a son and daughter. He is survived by his devoted sister, Lina Sauls Taylor, brother Kenneth Sauls (Elderd) and two predeceased brothers Willie (Shevie) and    William Sauls and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
