Deborah Green

Deborah Green, daughter of the late David and Patricia Green, was born July 12, 1967, in Brooklyn, NY.  She departed this life in Virginia Beach, VA. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Deborah, known as “Debbie,” was raised in Suffolk, VA.  She was the oldest of four children.  The joke of us four was never to say or do anything around Debbie because she would tell our mama.  Debbie was very smart, an honor student in school and all her life she had a memory out of this world.  She could provide you with phone numbers, addresses, important dates, or any numerical information you need.  Everyone Debbie stayed in touch with knows that she loved to talk on the phone.  If she had your number, she was going to call you.  She was the first one to call you in the morning and the last person to call you at night.  She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents, David and Patricia Green; grandparents, Leon and Lola Green, and Fannie Byrd; great grandparents, Willie and Jettie Coles; brother, Daniel Whitmore.  She is survived by her son, Demetrius Green and his wife, Stephanie; grandson, Kai; siblings, Denise Sanford and Dwight Green; nieces, Leah, Mikayla, Sidney, and Olivia; nephew, Javon; great nephews, Lorenzo and Landon; great niece, Lauryn.  She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
