Callis, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her beloved maternal grandmother,
Rosa Callis, and her paternal grandparents, West and Pearl Key.
Deborah’s life was a testament to faith, resilience, and community service. She leaves behind her
cherished son, Bretton Key, her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Key, and her three adored
grandchildren, Sanai, Daniel, and Alivia Key, as well as a bonus grandchild, Mila Callie-Rose.
She is also survived by her half-sister, Stacey Key of Atlanta, GA; her step-siblings, Charmaine
Bell, Denice Woods, and Mederick Woods of Houston, TX; two nieces, Andrea Key of Atlanta, and
Samira Woods of Houston; and one nephew, Christopher Bell of Houston, TX.
Deeply involved in her church and community, Deborah was a devoted member of Garrett

sweet spirit, unwavering faith, and dedication to her church and her alma mater were a source
of inspiration to all who knew her. Deborah faced life’s adversities with grace and without
complaint, touching countless lives with her kindness and generosity.
Ms. Debbie will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of
knowing her. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of
