Dennis Barrett

Dennis Barrett (Dee) was the youngest born son of Ethel Barrett and the late Earnest Barrett; was born on July 13, 1960, in Bronx, New York. He departed this life on August 29, 2020, in Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Dennis resided in New York City most of his adult life where he received his formal education.

Dennis completed a tour of six years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on October 14, 1990.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Ethel Barrett of Chesapeake, Virginia; one brother, Tony Powell ( Val) of Suffolk, Virginia; one sister, Constance Barrett of Chesapeake, Virginia; one aunt, Lois Boone (Mouse) of Suffolk, Virginia; five nieces; Alexis, Toni, Javonda, Yasmine, and Trina; five great nieces; three great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
