Obituary

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, God quietly came into Sentara Leigh Hospital and summoned Derrall Williams to join Him in everlasting peace. Derrall Williams was born on June 13, 1958, in Chesapeake, Virginia. He was employed by Seafarer’s International Union as an AB Seaman for over 35 years. He saw many countries and places during his tour of work.  He earned many certificates and was quite diligent about his career.  

He was the son of the late Moses N. Williams Jr. and Frances Williams.  He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Denise Parker, with four granddaughters. He had five sisters, Mary Harris (Alonzo)of Norfolk, VA,  Faye Williams (Michael) of Virginia Beach, VA, Ernestine Williams of Virginia Beach, VA,  Debbie Williams of Chesapeake, VA, and the late Daphyne Williams.  He had three brothers, Daniel Williams of Norfolk, VA, Ronald Williams (Evelyn) of Chesapeake, VA, and the late Bernard Williams. He had a special friend April Towe. He also leaves to cherish his memories his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
