Derreck Booth Obituary

Derreck Lee Booth was born on May 23, 1990 to Pamela Jordan and LaDereck Mosley, Sr. and left to be with the Lord, becoming my angel on October 12, 2025.

Derreck was an angel. He was very sweet, well-mannered, kind, and gentle. Many people loved and wanted to adopt Derreck when he was a toddler. Derreck had two other mothers who loved him, Kim Chreene and Cathy Bennett.

Derreck loved loved cooking as that was his passion. He loved painting as well amongst many other things. Once he graduated high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he would eventually cook for the Queen.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Helen Smith; and his father, LaDereck Mosley, Sr.

Derreck is survived by his older brother, Roy Booth Jr.; and his younger siblings, LaDereck Mosley, Jr., Andre, Alonzo, Lainey Long, and Destiny; as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He will be missed by many, especially by his mom...Pamela.
