DOUGLAS H. OSBORNE

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Howard Osborne aka Doug, announces his passing.  Doug (70) of Moyock, NC, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026.

He was born in Welch, WV, the son of Thomas H. Osborne and Betty L. Mullins Osborne Stallings.

He graduated from Oscar F. Smith High School in Chesapeake, VA.

Doug worked as a store manager with Peoples Pharmacy, Revco Pharmacy, and retired from Rite Aid.

He was one of a kind and he enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing and hunting. 

His siblings will forever be grateful for their brother.  He was not only a brother but became their second father.

Cherishing his memory is his family: Mother: Betty L. Stallings, Daughter: Christina Graham, Grandson: Harley Graham, Siblings: Bobby W. Osborne (partner, Catherine Baker), Barbara J. Loper (spouse, Terry G. Loper), Kathy A. Cyree (partner, Ricky Lassiter), Debbie L. Lockhart (spouse, Keith Lockhart), Shelia K. Osborne (spouse, Samuel A Ketterman), Angela S. Harper (spouse Daryl Harper), along with several nieces and nephews. 

Doug is preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Osborne, and his stepfather, Thomas H. Stallings.

A private celebration of life will take place later this year.

The family would like to thank Doug’s sister, Barbara J. Loper and her spouse, Terry G. Loper for their care of our brother and second father.

His memory will live in our hearts forever.
