Reflections of Life
2 Tim 4:6-8
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight , I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. KJV
On Wednesday April 6, 2022, Frenchy Denise Boston-Neal loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend slipped into eternal rest at the age of 60, in Augusta, Georgia, after a lengthy illness.
Frenchy was born on March 7,1962 to Patricia Ann Boston Gaye and the late Vernon Andrews. She acknowledged her Step-Father, the late McArthur Gaye as her loving Father who helped raise her.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of First Providence Baptist Church, of North Augusta, SC. She was predeceased by her Father and Step-Father as noted above. Her favorite quote was: “ One thing for certain, two things for sure”.
Frenchy retired from Avondale Mills in Graniteville, SC as a weaver.
She had an overwhelming love of fashion and she was always coordinated from head to toe, a true Diva!!! Those closest to her knew her favorite color was Denim and purple.
Frenchy was an excellent cook and her signature dish was corned beef and cabbage.
Frenchy never let her illness keep her down. She even came to Norfolk to celebrate her 60th birthday and later ended up in the Hospital where she received the grim news of the progression of her disease and she was given a three week prognosis. She went home to Georgia where she survived for three weeks and three days.
She leaves to mourn her loss: her loving husband of 27 years, Marion Neal from Sandersville, Georgia; One son, Robert Cortez Boston(Augusta, Ga), One step-son, Thomas Leonard Neal(Augusta, Ga); Two daughters: Trisheika Laneice Boston(Norfolk, VA); Karen Cindy Bryant(Norfolk, VA); Mother: Patricia Ann Boston Gaye(Norfolk, VA); One Sister, Pamela Evette Boston(Hampton, VA) and one brother, Edward McArthur Gaye(Charlottseville, VA); One adopted Brother: Frankie Bryant(Norfolk, VA); ten grandchildren and one great grand son, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
