George Jordan

On Monday June 20, 2022, our Heavenly Father called home George Jordan.  George was born to the late Johnnie and Janie Jordan on January 17, 1941, in Norfolk, VA. George retired from Norfolk State University. George was soft spoken, loving, quiet and humble. George loved and praised God. God called our family one by one and our family chain is once again broken.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Cheryl Wiggins of Norfolk; one son, George Wiggins of Norfolk; two sisters, Joyce Lane of Virginia Beach, and Barbara Atkinson of Norfolk; and the late Texie Cowell and the late Sally Jordan, four brothers, John, Gerald, Melvin, and Bobby Jordan all of Norfolk, and the late Clarence Jordan; and a host of loving relatives and caring friends.
