On April 21, 2023, at 12:48 a.m. Geraldine Louise Logan accepted God’s invitation to cross from labor to reward.
Geraldine Louise Williams was born as a twin on November 14, 1945, to the late Raymond and Gladys (Samuels) Williams. She was born and raised in Farrell, PA and grew up as one of ten children in a close-knit family. After graduating from Harding Business College, she worked as an office assistant for several years. Geraldine accepted God’s call on her life and was ordained as an Evangelist and later a Minister of the Gospel. She was a member of Center of Love COGIC, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Of all her accomplishments, Geraldine was most proud of her children-Helena, William, Jr., Tawanda, and Andrea, 12 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Buddy. She was affectionately known to most as “Nana” or “Nana Girl”.
Nana Girl loved LIVING life! She enjoyed spreading the gospel, traveling to family events, visiting and talking to friends, sewing, making wreaths, cooking, dressing “sharp”, and sporting her hats. Anyone who had an opportunity to spend time with Geraldine knew she would be the life of the party and make you laugh with her sassiness.
Ms. Geraldine Louise Logan is survived by her children, Helena (David) Williams, Tawanda (Chuck) Smith, and Andrea (Ronyelle) Clary; 9 Grandchildren Vashawn (Angie) Williams, David Williams, III, Brayanna (Jaren) Jones, Serenity Smith, William Mosley, III, Adrian Taylor, Antwan Greene, DeAndre Davis, DeAnte Davis, Tyeisha Rogers, and Tiffany (Stephanie) Rogers-Nunez; 10 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 1 paternal aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends. She was predeceased by her Parents, husband-Andrew, Son-William, Jr., Grandson-Brandon, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. The family would like to recognize and give a heartfelt thank-you to Kristal Sanders who was more than a caretaker, she became family.
