Gloria Brown

Gloria Louise Brown was a native of Suffolk, VA born on October 6, 1946 to Mamie Brown and William Waverly Brown Sr who preceded her in death. She also was preceded by a daughter, Andrea Wallace and sister, Geraldine Williams.

She was a graduate in 1964 of John F Kennedy High School. She also attended Norfolk State University Where she Graduated with a degree in a business & accounting. After graduating college she went on to work as a school teacher 

She also worked at the naval air station as a jet mechanic . She found her passion as a real estate agent where she dedicated 33 years doing so. In her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting, weekly bingo games, spending time with her grandkids she found joy in spending time with family and traveling.

Gloria’s memory and legacy will be cherished by her son, Jevon Lamont Brown Sr. of Chesapeake, VA; grandsons, Drean Laveil Wallace of Portsmouth, VA  and Jevon Lamont Brown Jr. of Virginia Beach; granddaughter, Adara Charmaine Young of Chesapeake, VA; great-grandsons, Drean Nasir Wallace of Chesapeake,VA and Legend Amir Wallace of Portsmouth, VA; great-granddaughter, Naudia Zanahh Edwards of Portsmouth, VA; Her brother, William Waverly Brown II (Barbara); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
