James Franklin “Frank” Eason was born on January 17, 1952, to the late Annie Lou Eason in Clinton, North Carolina. James’ “Frank” Eason was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. James was preceded in death by his loving mother, Miss Annie Lou Eason, grandmother Mrs. Mattie “MaMatt” Eason Hayes, and brother, Linwood “Colt” Eason”. James transitioned to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2024.
James graduated from Clinton High school in 1970 and later settled in New York. James graduated from Sampson Community College in 1989, after receiving professional training in Facilities Maintenance. In 1984, James married Mary Short, and together they had a son, Frank Jr. He later had a second son, Justin Hicks. James had several professional careers including New York City Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, New York City Port Authority, General Motors, and Old Dominion University.
James enjoyed life. He loved spending time with family, and dearly loved his brothers and friends. James had several hobbies which included relaxing on his front porch, watching the daily news, western shows, and all the Law & Order episodes. James loved to laugh and have a good time.
James Franklin “Frank” Eason leaves his treasured memories to his two sons James “Frankie” Eason, Jr., and Justin Hicks; one granddaughter Sierra; three brothers, Jefferson “Jeff” (Anita), Paul (April), William (Tracey); special friend, Monique Joyner; and a good friend Authur Sanders; as well as, a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
