Jewelline Poulson Obituary

Jewelline Poulson was born on March 7, 1950, to Eulabelle Johnson and Jewel Johnson. She peacefully departed this life on March 19, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her brother, Robert Johnson, and her sister, Vivian Johnson.

Jewelline leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Charlie W. Poulson Jr.; her beloved brother, Ken Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a cherished mother to four children: Christine Johnson (Donald) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Robert Coleman of Norfolk, Virginia; DeNean Morrow of

Galesburg, Illinois; and LaMont Morrow of Morton, Illinois. She also lovingly embraced four step-daughters: Tamara White (Christopher), Tiffany Poulson, Tiara Rush (Delvin), and Tryphena Beagle (Uriah).
She was a proud and loving grandmother to William Coleman, Markus Coleman, Tia Coleman, Tralise
Mixon, Jasmine Morrow, Kayla Morrow, Arieanna Morrow, Arif Coleman, Aman Coleman, and Ahmed
Coleman, and a committed step-grandmother to Mariah Poulson-Shuler, Adrianna Rush, McKenzie Rush,
and Cameron Rush. She was also blessed with sixteen great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
Jewelline dedicated over 20 years of service to ATC Healthcare and, most recently, worked with Quality
Staffing Associates.
She found great joy in baking and spending time binge-watching her favorite television shows. A woman
of strong faith, Jewelline had a deep love for the Lord. She attended Macedonia Church in Norfolk,
Virginia, and participated in Full Gospel services online.
Jewelline will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering faith, and the love she so freely shared
with her family and all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
