Joseph Pritchett, II

Mr. Joseph Darryl Pritchett, II, Age 42, of Norfolk, VA, transitioned peacefully on February 11, 2026. He was born on March 5, 1983 in Norfolk, VA to Constance Brooks- Hill and the Late Joseph Darryl Pritchett, Sr.

Joe will be remembered as a man of many talents and strengths who possessed both brains and brawn.  He enjoyed many things, but most importantly the time he spent with his adoring family who could always count on him. 

He is survived by his Mother, Constance Brooks - Hill; 3 sisters, Veronica Hatendi, Stephane Rone, and Kendra Pritchett; 1 brother Antonio Rone; his former wife Latonya, their children Jade and Lyric; as well as Ilia and Keonzai, whom he loved as his very own; 7 grandchildren, Ivory, Mioni, M’Kari, Malik, Meilani, Kairo, and Kymora; 2 nephews, Sin’Cere and Kingston; 2 nieces, J’Niyah and Khassidi; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   

A viewing will be held at Keith Matthews Funeral Home (Norfolk, VA) on February 25, 2026 between 3:00pm - 6:00pm. The Celebration of Life service will be held at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church (Norfolk, VA), on February 26, 2026 at 1:00pm. In addition to flowers, the family welcomes donations to help support Joseph’s children.
