Josephine McClese

Josephine McClese was born on May 22, 1946 and passed away on  September 25, 2025.

She attended John T. West Elementary School, Jacox Jr. High School, and Booker T. Washington High School and later received higher education at Norfolk State University. She worked over the years as a clerk in the Norfolk public school system, as a medical assistant, and as a daycare provider, which was her current position.

Josephine was predeceased by her grandmother, Alice Wiggins; her mother, Ida Lee King Wiggins; her brother, Walter Lee King; and her son, Anthony Morgan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Leslie King; granddaughter, Tasharia Whitley; great-granddaughters, Milani Taylor and Miriyah Whitley; her sister, Mary King; her niece, Cheryl King; great-niece, Quanisha King; great-nephew, Keonte King; her best friend for over 30 years, Yvonne Brickhouse; as well as a host of other family and friends.
