Keith Humphrey Cuffee, was born on May 23, 1958, to the late Samuel L. Sr. and Shirley G. Cuffee in Washington, DC. Keith departed this earthy life on Monday May 4, 2026, in Chesapeake, VA.
Keith was born a twin and the fourth of eight children. At a young age Keith took delight in cooking and cleaning with his eldest sister Dee. They often made games out of completing household chores before their parents got home.
He was known as a great listener and confidant to those he loved. In 1977 after graduating from High School Keith joined the U.S. Army and went on to serve his country with pride and tenacity. After being honorably discharged, his love for fashion drove him to one of his first jobs at Kinny’s shoes and Wilson Leathers. What a combination to feed his fashion explorations purposefully.
Keith met and courted Michele Y. (Wiley) Brown and married in July 1982. From this union two beautiful daughters were born Danielle M. Cuffee and Keithia S. Cuffee. He then started his career at American Airlines where his love for traveling flourished. He traveled the world visiting various countries and family members when time permitted.
He was proceeded in death by his eldest sister Baby Cuffee and his brother- in- love Michael Cansler.
He leaves to cherish in his memory his 2 loving daughter’s, 1-granddaughter Quinn B.R. Cuffee, 3 brothers Samuel Cuffee Jr (Sylvia), his twin Kenneth Cuffee, Anthony Cuffee (Falicia) his 3 sisters Delena Benjamin (Gregory), Shelia Phifer, and Karen Cansler (Harry). One Uncle Clevon (Charlie) Cuffee and one Aunt Mary Vines and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
