Kenneth Ferebee Obituary

On Oct. 8, 2025 (four days before his 63rd birthday), Kenneth Lee Ferebee of Norfolk, VA, passed away peacefully at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Affectionally known to friends as "Kenny Ken" and to family as "Baby Boi", Kenneth was born Oct. 12, 1962 to Queenie Bryant Ferebee and Elvin I. Perry.

Kenneth attended Norfolk Public Schools. He worked in roofing and construction over 25 years until his health began to fail. 

Kenneth was predeceased by both parents, a brother (Timothy I. "aka Paul" Ferebee), one brother-in-law Ronald N. Jones, and close friend Yvette Lawton. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Rebecca Renn (Lorne), Kaneshia Lawton, and Teresa Hurst; bonus daughters, Trinika and Travolya Lawton; one son, Antoine Norman; ten grandchildren, Kaison, Rekiah, Austyn, De'Shawn, Tamara, Paris, Melania, Arille, Serena Monae and Antoine Jr; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Caleigha; four sisters, Angie Hairston (Wytt), Cynthia Kellam (Andre), Phyllis Gray (Thomas) and Annette Ferebee Jones; bonus sisters and brothers,  Martha Jones, Visa Matthews, Irvin Ferebee, and Derrick Ferebee; one uncle, Irones Bryant.

He also leaves to cherish his memory a special friend, Vickie Robinson; a long time friend, Gail Spruill; cousins like siblings, Paula Harold, Herbert and Joseph Nichols; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
