Kenneth Norman

Kenneth Antonio “Kenny” Norman was born on May 30, 1962, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was called home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ella Wilson; his father, James Lee Norman; and his brother, James Lee Norman Jr.

Born and raised in Norfolk’s Norview community, Kenneth developed a strong sense of independence at an early age. He ventured out on his own and built a life defined by hard work, determination, and resilience. He was a dedicated HVAC and sheet metal mechanic who took great pride in his craft and the relationships he built throughout his career. Kenneth was respected for his strong work ethic, admired for his kind heart, and loved for his vibrant spirit.

Kenneth found great joy in spending time with family, listening to music, and enjoying life with those he loved most. His laughter, stories, and warm presence brought happiness and comfort to everyone around him. He was especially passionate about sharing his knowledge of the HVAC trade, mentoring and guiding others, including his younger brother Barry, his oldest nephew Quentin, his son Kevin, and many others who benefited from his wisdom, patience, and expertise.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kevin (Ashley) Wilson, Kennan Flemming, Kenneth Taylor, and Alisha Collins; his beloved grandchildren, Dashawn Wallace, Kevianna Wilson, Justice Wilson, Zanikia Lynch, Kennan Flemming Jr., Elijah Flemming, Raina Flemming, and Kaylynn Gorden; his sisters, Katrina Lockett (Norman) and Tammi Ward; his brothers, Ahmad Akram, Dwight Norman, and Barry Norman; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, relatives, and dear friends who loved him deeply.

Kenneth will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us, his love, legacy, and treasured memories will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
