Kenneth Welch

On May 20, 2025, Kenneth Edward Welch aka "Kenny" received his wings. Kenny was born on March 3, 1950 to the late George W. Welch and Rosa L. Welch. Kenny received his education in the Norfolk Public School System. Kenny joined the Military and served in the NAVY as a Personnel Administration Specialist. He retired from the Navy after 21 years of honorable service.
     
Kenny earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree from Norfolk State University and began a second career as a Substance Abuse Counselor for the state of Virginia from which he also retired.

Kenny leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Debra Parker ( Marvin), Faye Lightfoot (Thomas), Lorine Gilliam (Alphonso), Erma Dean Smallwood (Jasper); two brothers, Linwood (Sheila), and Alphonso (Annette); one aunt, Yettie Burston; as well as a lot of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
