Lavern Reid

Lavern Hardy-Burford-Reid was born August 20, 1954 to the mother of Corrine Hardy-Lang and father of Gordon Field Lang Sr. She was raised on Nicholson Street out Youngs Park with her family. She really loved family, church, gospel music, shopping, eating, playing cards, back gammon, and love taking care of the elderly people. She had a warm heart and always made sure family was doing good.

God saw she needed rest and called his angel home on November 18, 2023. God said you will suffer no more and took her home to mourn in peace.

Lavern leaves to cherish her memory 4 grand children - Symariah Hardy, Markeshia Spencer, McKinley Jones, and Pierre Martin. She leaves 2 sisters - Sharon Lang and Annette Lang, 2 brothers- James Lang and David Lang, 2 step-sons -  Thurman Hill and Adrian Brown. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Lavern will truly be missed and loved by all of her family and friends. May she rest in peace and now she's out of pain.
