Lavonia Heade

OBITUARY
Lavonia Webb Heade, 76, passed away peacefully on February 21st, surrounded by her loved ones and family. A native of Norfolk, she was born on December 20th, 1946 to the late Oliver and Vivian Webb. Lavonia was educated within the Norfolk Public School System and graduated from Booker T.
Washington High School in 1965. Upon graduation, Lavonia went on to have a rewarding
and successful career in Washington DC with AT&T for 20 years.

LaVonia accepted Christ as her savior in her 20's and remained committed to passionately serving Him for the remainder of her life. She had a tremendous heart to serve those within her church and her community, helping to expand God's kingdom and winning souls for the Lord. She will be remembered by those who loved her for her sweet spirit, her love of dance, her love for her family, and most of all, her love for the Lord. LaVonia is survived by her daughter, Camillia Heade Dechent (Paul), her granddaughter Taryn Mercy Dechent, and her stepson Micheal Heade.
