Linda Washington Obituary

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

A Time To Be Born…

Ms. Linda Washington was born to the late Karwell Washington, Sr., and the late Adell Washington on December 9, 1953, in Bluffton, Georgia.

A Time To Learn…

Linda attended and graduated with her High school diploma from Lewis E. Dieruff High School in 1971 while living in Allentown, PA.

A Time To Labor…

Linda worked at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Ga until 2001 she later moved to Norfolk, Va, to live with her daughter. She also worked at Nordstrom Inc. and was a dedicated employee until 2019 and then she retired.

A Time To Love…

Linda was a big supporter of family she loved to be at family gatherings and doted on her family members. She had such a sweet spirit and always had a kind word. She was always known for being honest and genuine to those that knew her.  She was a very simple and quiet woman who was an avid reader. Linda was an extraordinary woman who loved helping those in need. Her goal in life was to see others happy and always willing to encourage someone to do their best. She made several sacrifices in her life for the greater good. Linda loved Jesus and was a faithful member of Safe Haven Healing and Deliverance Church in Virginia Beach, Va under the leadership of Pastor Jon Veasley until her untimely death.

A Time to Remember…

Linda will be missed tremendously by her family and friends, she was always a phone call away to those seeking advice for any situation they were faced with in life. She loved to laugh and play pranks on her family members all in the name of fun. Family and friends are left with her precious memories that will live on in our hearts.
